I am an 18 year old girl and me and my friend are getting matching tattoos, probably on our ankle. What are some nice little tattoo ideas for there, or any other location?
Also where exactly on your ankle would be nice to get one?

I want a small tattoo behind my ear not quiet sure what I want though?

No offense to Sam, but you probably shouldn't get a Chinese or Japanese symbol UNLESS you actually speak the language. Too many times the symbol is incorrect.
Flowers are always good. music note. A heart. A small bird. A leaf. Your star sign.
What kinds of things do you do in your free time? Do you like to write, play games, workout, ect?
Try and pick something that you can relate to, not something that is just pretty or cute.
I knew a girl who got a pineapple behind her ear. It seemed weird, but when asked she had a whole story behind it. Her parents were from Hawaii, and they would eat pineapples all the time. So for her the pineapple reminded her of how much she loved her family. Never would have guessed that from a pineapple tattoo! :D
Other than that, tattoos behind the ear are very cute and easy to hide if necessary.
