Anaiza

I'm a girl and this is to incorporate into a sleeve I already have a blow dryer and comb that say Caridad brass knuckle stamped over a portrait of depression and three cancer ribbons coming together to form death woyh the word mom writen over it what would be a good idea that symbolizes strength to incorporate in my sleeve also I don't want any Asian or Celtic ideas or any lions or tigers no animals. Thanks for your ideas

Answer
A good idea would be something original that you come up with on your own.
A bad idea would be anything suggested by a stranger online.

Tattoo design questionn..?

anonnn.

So, I'm 16 and I'm thinking of getting a tattoo when I'm 18/19...
I want to get a smallish tattoo on my wrist.
I want this tattoo to have a lot of meaning and I've already thought of what i think is a good design.
I was thinking of getting a pair of brass knuckles, and in each hole i want either a kanji/chinese symbol saying "happiness, hope, strength, " and in the bigger hole "life"... the meaning would be that I'm fighting FOR those things in my life.. and it'll be on my wrist because i've had issues with self-harm and depression, and the wrist is a place that self-harm is practiced on alot...
this tattoo is more for ME, then anyone else.. so i think it works.
but the problem is that my wrist is pretty small/skinny, and idk if the brass knuckles would look right, or if the holes in it would be big enough for to actually fit any of the symbols... many of my friends say its too big for my arm but im not convinced. lol. plus, im really wanting this tattoo.
so... any comments?
i'm a girl also, so i dont know if the brass knuckles would really workk.. but yeah.

i just need other peoples insight.

Answer
Brass knuckles aren't for skinny girls. That's for sure.

but since you're "really wanting this tattoo", then go ahead. You're still 16 and there's plenty of time. Who knows, you may feel a sense of change in your ideas.

Good luck.

What is a elegant, nice, lovely knuckle tattoo?

I was thinking about knuckle tattoo ideas and if I were to ever get one I would want it to be nice and elegant. Not something tough like "game over", "love - hate", or "mans - ruin". I would want something nice and elegant that would make someone just say "wow I like that."
I really like "Ciao Baby" but someone all ready has that. I could get "Chow Baby" if I wanted. I also like this girls "Ruby Soho".

If you don't like knuckle tattoo's then why are you reading this?
I know someone is going to say "Don't get a tattoo if you don't know what you want." This is just to see what other people's ideas are and to build off my own.
Thanks.
To the first answer. Do you have nothing better to do with your time? Especially after I said if you don't like tattoos why are you reading this. Many tatttoo's can be elegent.
I do not like Baby Love. What does that mean? That I like baby's? Just because I said "lovely" it does not mean I have to get the word "love" tattooed. Ruby Soho doesn't use any words that go along with love yet it is still classy and elegant.

Answer
I agree, I'm a heavily tattooed artist, but don't think any knuckle tattoo is classy. Look at the typical person with knuckle tattoos and try to classify them as classy. It doesn't work.

As a huge tattoo fan, and a tattooed person myself, my advice to you is this...

DO NOT get any tattoos that are mere fads (such as brass knuckles and nautical stars and swallows), and tattoos that do not mean a LOT to you personally.

Whenever I see brass knuckles or nautical stars or swallows or other "trendy" types of tattoos, I think... wow, that's stupid, and that person is going to regret that s**t when they're older. Why? Because it doesn't have anything to do with their beliefs or their personalities or them as individuals.

I believe that tattoos should be expressions of peoples' individuality. So think about what you love... what your beliefs are... what your favorite hobbies are... the things that you believe will NEVER CHANGE for you or about you... because if you get a boyfriend's name or a cartoon character or something on your skin, and then you stop liking those things, you're going to regret the tattoo, and it costs a hell of a lot and hurts a hell of a lot (from what I've heard) to have it removed.

So anyway, just think about what would be special to you personally, and think about it for quite a while before you actually commit to it, because... well, tattoos are forever!

And I'm not a gangster or anything...
And if u have tattoo there will it be hear to find jobs?

Answer
None. Your assumption is spot-on correct! You will not ever be taken seriously by employers with the exception of low pay and low skill jobs.
