How can I make my star tattoos into something more manly?

I recently turned 18 and I got 3 tattoos, I got a sleeve I'm working on still and a tattoo on my upper back and 3 stars on my neck on the side of my ear. All my friends are telling me how gay my star tattoos are and saying only girls get star tattoos. Is it really a gay tattoo? And if so, how can I make them look more manly?
It is only an outline and nothing more, no color or anything.

Stars are gay tattoos? They know what? They are nuts. How come stars are innocent. Star is star, not a gay thing, it is universal, unisex thing. If you wanna have hot tattoos, consider pentacle ( star with magic symbols) I like something magical.

Where is a good place for a girl to get a nautical star tattoo?

Ive been wanting a tattoo for somewhile now and I really want to get a nautical star but im not sure where i should get one.
I was thinking maybe behind my ear, the back of my neck, or maybe my wrist. Anyone have a good idea?

.......star tattoos are insanely overdone
so in my opinion, there is no good place for a girl to get a nautical star tattoo

especially since you have to ask strangers on the internet

weather it is your neck or wrist DON'T write your name. is stupid. do something very artsy!

i remember i saw a show about a girl getting a tatto on her back but like were her neck is almost. anyway she had a penny and wings drawn to the penny. it is said that when you find a penny on the floor with the head up it means an angel is there to protect you.

if you dont like that you can do a cool star, an angel, a picture of your mom or someone you love. :) ( not a boyfreind!)

What do you think about matching tattoos?

My girlfriend and I are getting matching tattoos. They are going to be side tattoos. I am going to have her name in script and with stars from my back, onto my side, and back up to my neck. She is going to have matching stars in a similar pattern. They will match up when we are together. Do you think it will look good or do you have any other designs?

I agree with not getting her name and she shouldn't get yours either. Matching is fine as long as it's something that you'd both like whether or not you were together. IF you ever get a girls name tattooed on yourself...I would at the very least wait until its the girl you are married to.
