Tattoo designs?

Q. i want a tattoo, its my first so iwant a small-ish one.
i wanted something to do with music, but i dont want a music note or anything
i was thinking a sparrow on my forearm, or a diamond or star?
im a girl so something girly, but not too girly like a loveheart

well i can only share my ideas with you really and tell you what ive got it may inspire you =)
first of all 4 hearts running down my rib cage getting smaller just balck outline 3 stars on the side of my neck and my name with a heart on the baxk of my ankle
im getting a new tst on my wrist soon which is a jewel seeing as my name means jewel in italian and it says gioiello underneath it which is the italian word for jewel and i have italian origin

Text on an ankle tattoo?

I want to get a medium sized feather pen on my ankle/lowe calf area (the location is not going to change). However, I wanted to include some text in the design.

Minimally, I am going to have "Jeremiah 29:11-14"in the design (I have wanted that in a tattoo for 4 years). However, I also wanted to include the word "Regardless." Would having both pieces of text be too much?

What would look better? A basic feather pen with a little text or a peacock featger pen with some flowers and the same text?

I'm going to be 100% honest with you.

If you are a smoking hot girl with a great body then I would go for whatever you want, it wont matter and will look good.

If you are not a 9 or 10 on the hotness scale DO NOT GET AN ANKLE OR CALF TATTOO!

Ankle or calf tattoos on average women end up looking really trashy and do not look good. I would go for the inner arm or your back...

What is the difference between a "really pretty girl" with tattoos and an appearantly not so pretty girl with tattoos? It's still just a tattoo on a woman. Size, gender, amount and design with obviously offensive intention aside: it makes no difference. She is still who she is, just with a tattoo. I have two tattoos and most people wouldn't expect it from me in a million years. Mine are hidden 99% of the time (along my spine and ankle) so when they are seen I get mixed reactions but really don't care what anyone else thinks because they are for me and me only. Even the horribly nicknamed tramp stamp doesn't change a girl, it's just a tattoo and only makes the stereo types live longer.

-Reading back through, my answer could be taken as pissy but it's not meant to be. Just making a case that there is no reason why anyone should care if a girl has a tattoo.

Iam an artist and tend to tell peopl that want tattoos to think it over themselves.if you dont have many try and stay with something that cn be covered easily just incase for further jobs and whatnot.If you wanna go big do it,but justthink of the consequences firsthand.Its better to know what design you want first then think about where to put it because that can make or break a tattoo in my opinion.I mean wouldnt really look that great if a person had a tattoo that would look great on the side but they stretch it akwardly to fit it to an arm...maybe you get what im saying so try and choose a good design and the go from there.....and go to a reputable artist because many people do not knnow what a good tattoo looks like....I see people at my plae all the time braggin about this piece of shit someone down the street did,and then they look at myportfolio and almost gag from the detail that theirs lacks....youd be amazed by what todays artist cn dowith the equipment we have now
