i am not yet old enough to get a tat but i like to think bout it befor i get it on the spur of the moment

well i would like to get the word luck, love, hope,life, or fun on my lower back i dont know which one yet

i would also like to get it in a graffiti style, i dont know what different kinds there is, so some pics would be nice, i also would like it to be green, blue, red, or black and white or a mixof some of those

is the graffiti a good idea?

Stay true to what you want. Don't let the opinions of others sway your decision. It's true, lots of people do refer to lower back tattoos as "tramp stamps" and I believe that it's because a lot of pretty girls have them, and when people are jealous they start name calling. Just get what you want.

As far as the design goes, tell the tattoo artist about your ideas and they should be able to come up with something you'll like. Research the artists in your town first and make sure you go to a good one.

And of course, wait until you're 18. I'm sure that's what you're planning to do anyway, but incase it's not I'll tell you the reason why I don't tattoo anyone under the age of 18 regardless of parental consent. You may still grow. If you grow, your tattoo won't look as good because it'll stretch. It's best to wait.

Low back tattoos are cute on girls with a nice body. If you think about it, it looks better on girls because it is near their butt. Guys love looking at girl's butts. They think it is real hot.
As for where you have the tattoo it all depends on the design and size.
Like a signature of a name or words in cursive will good on the side. designs would look good in the center.

tattoo removal? anyone know anything?

Q. i have a tattoo that i need removed, it is black ink ONLY, very simple design (it's a name) and ive had it for about 2 years so there has been no natural fading involved. i live in nyc and need it done by a LICENSED professional, not some fly by night stand in an alley. anyone know how much this is gonna run me? or any experiences with tattoo removal? id love to hear. grazie
also, the tattoo has been done professionally and i am very fair, i know skin color makes a difference with the lasers. thnx.

a girl i know says that hers was a tiny design on her ankle and they could take it off but for like 600 dollars. i would just call the place you got it from and ask!! good luck!

Why do people say it's a curse to tattoo someone's name on you?
You never know if your going to be together or not or for how long what makes a difference getting a name tatted on you? It can always be covered up if you break up.
So it a good idea or not?

I am a tattoo'd person, with a lot of tattoo'd friends, I personally would not get a girl friends name tattoo'd on me, I do however, have my baby sisters names tattoo'd on my back.

I have seen so many people get their partners names tattoo'd and then later need them covered up (It's not as easy as just putting ink on top! cover ups need a lot of work, and a perfect design). I would only consider getting my partners name tattoo'd on me after a 20+ year marrige probably.

Either way, goodluck, don't do anything stupid. :)

Ive always been a classy girl, but my dad passed away when i was a teen on my birthday, and i want a tattoo to remeber him by, i want it in a place that can be hidden and i dotn want it large, also not a picture of him, can anyone think of some words, or symoblttic things, or any ideas? Id really appericate it, thanks!

is there anything your dad liked or makes you think of him? something he collected, something that was special between you two, or even a favorite interest he had?
if there is something you can think of id get that an maybe the words in memory of, or dad or his name and maybe the date he was born and passes....

you could even do a really pretty design with his name and/or in memory of with the dates...

my dad also passed when i was a teen...and ive been wanting to get a tattoo in memory of him...he had an orginal tattoo on his arm and i thought about gettin that but makin it smaller and theres a perfect place for his name and dates on it...i just want to go to the guy who drew it for him to do it for me...and i would stick that on my left shoulder blade because his tattoo was on the upper part of his left arm.
and my step-dad just passed last year, and i plan to get a tattoo in memory of him...im having my boyfriend draw me something with his name or nickname from me with the dates...i think its gonna be a pink rose (pink was his favorite color and he liked but always complained about my moms rose bush) with some viens or something in it too....my boyfriend is a great artist so i have no doubt it will turn out great...
my only hold up is getting to the perfect person to tattoo me cause i dont want mistakes.


also, make sure before you just let anyone tattoo you that you check out their work and everything because you dont want them to mess it up not only will it ruin it it will ruin the memory that you wanted to keep with it.

as for places you could do possibly on your back, your upper leg, or neck...those to me are the most hidden places...or maybe even your foot...it depends on size too....
