You should get a tattoo that means something, because it's permanent. Your tattoo artist will appreciate it more and so will you. Give them your story, ask them for an original sketch or design, tell them what you want, and then get it. Don't just get a tramp stamp.

So, a little about me...
I'm sixteen, have a daughter named Serenity. I'm kinda peachish paleish, really short, long brown hair with blonde highlights, braces, glasses, hazel eyes. I like being pretty but also got my tomboy days>:) I like to get dirty, wrestle/play-fight, video games, English class:), making new friends, hanging out with guys, drawing, singing, animals, babies, and listening to music. I live in Ohio, but am from Texas. I don't listen to a certain kind of music, I listen to everything. From Machine Gun Kelly, to Linkin park, Nicki Minaj, Nickelback, Brad Paisley, etc. I listen to everything.. ! And I am outgoing and loud and beautiful. I have tons of friends and a good life. I've had a hard life too though.

Based on all of that, what do you think the BEST tattoo would be for me and where at ?
Ideally, I want a tattoo on my hand, wrist, behind my ear, on my shoulder, lower back ( tramp stamp ? it's called I think ), ankle, or up the side of my belly. Or on my foot. So what should I get!!!???
Also, how much does it hurt in each of the places I mentioned? And how much does a small tattoo cost? And how long does it take ?

This website isn't the best place for advice on this. A tattoo should be only about/for you, not what the internet and a bunch of strangers say is best. Personally, I think getting a tattoo at sixteen is a bad idea. I've met a lot of people who regret getting one just because they want one around that age.

If you are seriously thinking about it, do some research. Look into tattoo books and blogs. Doodle your heart out and find symbols and images that appeal to you. Once you've found something you think you like, draw it up or have an artistic friend draw it up for you. Then, put it on your bathroom mirror for at least a month. If you still like it after seeing it every day for an extended period of time, then maybe think about going for it. You can place that drawing on yourself and shift it around until you find a place it fits.

I want to get a couple of tattoo's, never had one before. I wanted to get some kinda design for resimble my kids then I wanted to get my boyfriends signiture, small, somewhere on me. Where should I put them, I want them as soon as possible but I can not figure out where to put them.

what to get: well first off i'd stear clear from getting any names permanant on ur body.. but if ur just DEAD SET on getting something about ur bf on u then maybe go for a symbol or animal or something along those lines.
EX) my cuz wantd something of her bf on her and we talkd her out of doing a name (thank goodness) and she went with a bear claw and used the middle of the claw as a CD...because his nickname since childhood is bear and hes a dj. and they broke up!! (not saying that is going to happn 2u) and now she atleast has a beutiful design on her body rather than a name she'd be ashamed of!!!

and for your three kids...hmm...stars?? well evn though they are popular now...are they still going to b as popular in 10-15yrs?? butterflies?? overly popular...try to think of something original... what do ur kids like? what are their names? their fav flowers?? what about three different flowers intertwined at the stem?? just keep searching for something and try to make it original as possible...wouldnt u want something permanantly on ur body to be meaningful rather than popularly cute??

I'm 16 and my older guy friend(19) ,who i met at school, is paying for me to get a tattoo this summer. i passed the idea by my mom and she said that as long as i pay for it and it isn't vulgar ,she is fine with it. I'm either gonna get 2 feathers behind my ear or something written on my wrist.

Your mom doesn't have the sense to say no to a 16 year old and you seem to be ready and willing to let some older guy dictate if you should get a tattoo. He wants you to get a tattoo because he finds them sexy and you're the willing sheep who's going to play into HIS fantasy, not yours.

Wheres the spot that hurts the less for a tattoo?

Ok, I know that i'm only 15 but I'm getting a tattoo when i'm older. I want to know that spot that hurts the less. I want it on my back but I have heard that it hurts really bad there. So where is the least painful spot. I thought of getting on on the inside of my ear. What would be cool?

Any place that has a lot of bones (hands, feet, etc) are going to be painful. I have a tattoo on the back of my shoulder, and that didn't hurt much at all... more annoying than anything.

We all tolerate pain at different levels. I've got a fairly high tolerance, so maybe what I thought of as a slightly annoying scratching would have had someone else screaming. On the other hand, I have no idea how some people can get a tramp stamp... I'd be in so much pain because my lower back is ridiculously sensitive.

If it helps, what I did to consider a spot that I could tolerate for my first tattoo was to take my nails and rake them over the patch of skin in question. Put a good bit of pressure behind it, but you're obviously not out to draw blood. (I've got long nails, which helps, but you get the idea.) Personally, to me, what I felt wasn't much worse than repeatedly dragging my nails over my skin; my skin just felt a bit raw and irritated.

Just remember, this is permanent... you don't want to be flinching and messing up the artwork. Don't go by what other people say is easy; like I said, my should was easy for me, it may not be the right place for you. All those girls with tramp stamps? I'd be a whimpering puddle of pain on the floor. *lol*
