Tattoos on women? Opinions?

super TROL

Chest, back, groin, arm, leg tat's.

This is a hudge turn on for me. What is your opinion?

Answer
I actually don't like tattoos on women at all, and I've noticed people get flamed on these boards for saying that (I have no idea why, I'm just stating my opinion). People act like you're narrow-minded if you don't like tattoos or something - this is the most absurd thing I've ever heard. It's got nothing to do with narrow-mindedness. I literally don't like the aesthetic effect of tattoos on women. It's a purely visual phenomenon for me.

The truth is, tattoos have a masculine look to me. I am really attracted to feminine girls, so a girl with tattoos on her arms, back, legs, etc. immediately becomes less attractive to me than she would be if she didn't have the tattoos. Tattoos on women have the same effect to me as big manly muscles on women - it just isn't attractive to me. I've heard some people say that all tattoos aren't masculine - they say, for example, how can a tattoo of a rose or a flower or something girly be masculine? But they're missing the point - it doesn't matter what the tattoo is. The actual appearance of ink all over someone's skin looks masculine no matter what, even if it's tattoos of roses or rainbows. They just spoil the natural beauty and femininity of women to me.

The beauty of a woman's natural body and natural smooth skin is far more appealing and feminine than one cluttered with ink, regardless of what specific designs the tattoos have. It's a desecration of the holy temple of perfectness that is the natural female body.

Should a girl tattoo her whole arm?

9D4-

TO ME, its pretty cool. some may say its ugly but whatever ! but i was wondering if i should get it my whole arm tatto'd... it may look nice now but when i get old my arm is gonna looked fucked up lol. idk, what do you guys think ?

Answer
you should only get a tattoo if you love it. not if other people do or dont
tattoos are a personal expression

personally, im working on designing my sleeve. im incorporating the night before christmas and the corpse bride. while on the other arm, im thinking of a half sleeve with stars, pink bubbles and a skull.

when you get a tattoo its something that you're going to love forever. a tattoo lasts 6 months longer than you do. so when getting a tattoo, get one you are inlove with.

besides, live for today not tomorrow, for tomorrow is not promised. my mom always told me that :)

I have been wanting a tattoo similar to Sahar from the Real World New Orelans and Elina from ANTM cycle 11. I think it looks delicate and feminine, but I don't know if it will always look good. What do you think?

Answer
I think their tattoos are really good and they will always look good. But I would like to recommend you some other tattoo designs because tattoo designs must be unique, you don't need to copy their tattoo. If you are looking for some feminine & delicate tattoo designs then in my view butterfly and fairy look good on arms. Let's see on this girl having a wonderful tattoos of butterfly on her arm. we think Both women and butterflies have wonderful, curvy forms. They both have delicate, soft texture and are very pleasing to the eye. Tattoo of butterflies can be any size is also important.

How do tattoos look on freckled skin?

Snazdazzle

I really want to get a tattoo done on my shoulder, the only problem is that my shoulders are very freckled. I was wondering if tattoos look weird on freckled skin?

Answer
I know a red haired girl who has very pale, freckled skin all over. She has one of her arms covered in tribal tattoo art. To be honest MY OWN OPINION is that black ink looks a bit strange against freckled skin and ruins the effect of tha tat. But I think it might be OK on your shoulder and just a single design, it will probably just cover up the freckles in that area un like the person I know who has them like 'between' the design as its swirly and what not. If that makes sense. Go for it if thats what you want. :)

I'm a girl with fairly tiny arms. The tat is from shoulder to elbow. It is going to be black and grey with maybe a tad of color to make a couple things pop. Its a memorial for my recently deceased grandma and it will have gardenias in it (her favorite flower) done in realism, and a cross design. I told the artist to do what he does when coming up with the layout and anything else in it. They charge 100/hr and its cash only so I wanted an estimate of how much cash I should bring with me and how long it will take. Thank you!

Answer
Call and ask the artist. There is no way for any of us to know how fast or slow the artist works. Weird for a tattoo place to only take cash....

How much thought do you really put into your tattoos?

DingoJane

I have two - one is a daisy on my toe and its in reference to a Girl scout song. I was a girl scout for forever.
The second is a set of paw prints walking up my spine. Im an animal rights girl and vegetarian so this one meant alot to me.

But when I was with my cousin when she was getting her drama masks tattooed on her arms (shes a theater major) some guy came in and wanted the logo from "Monster" energy drink tattooed on his ribs.

So my question is - how much did you think about your tattoo before getting it? What is it and what does it mean?

Answer
I wish I would of thought about them more. I would of designed full sleeves instead of get one here and there and here and there until I had full sleeves. Some of the coolest full sleeves are a well thought piece of art.

My tattoos (50+) don't really have that much meaning. It's probably more of a road map. Got some in different countries, different states, couple at Sturgis, a few at Daytona etc..
