How many books come after "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo"?

xXxNicxXx

How many books follow Stieg Larrson's "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"? Because I could have sworn I heard on the news that there were supposed to be ten books in the series, but only six of them reached publication with a possible seventh in hiding, but when I check around, there's only three books. Have the rest just not been translated yet?

Answer
There are three in all. The author is dead now and they published his 3 books.
They are:
The Girl with the Dragon Tatto
The Girl Who Played with Fire
and
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.
Also, 3/4 of the fourth book was written before the author's sudden death. His partner posses it on her computer and people are saying that there may be outlines for one or two more books.
Hope that helped! =)
And you can check out morea about the author and stuff on these links:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Girl_with_the_Dragon_Tattoo <- is about the first book
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Girl_Who_Played_with_Fire <- is about the second book

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo or The Hunger Games?

I want to buy a new Blu Ray and these are my 2 main options. Which one do you guys think I should buy? I've seen Dragon Tattoo but it's a classic but I haven't seen The Hunger Games.

Answer
If you haven't seen Hunger Games then I would recommend picking it up but if you were considering which one is better I would have to say The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Another thing to consider, which one has better rewatch value, I would say The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo because there is plenty of detail you may have missed in the previous watching.

I have seen the Dragon Tattoo 3 times, I have seen Hunger Games once. The other day I decided to rewatch Hunger Games but ended up quitting 10 minutes in because all the scenes from the movie flooded back into my head and it became boring to watch.

Hunger Games = fun and entertaining the first time watching but no rewatch value
Dragon Tattoo = more details (more rewatch value), amazing director, and great mystery atmosphere

How to get hair like Lizbeth Salander from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo?

alexa baby

I currently have mid-length raven black hair, that is
About two inches past my shoulders.
I have side bangs that had grown out, and now to my chin.

I currently really want an almost identical
Haircut as Lisbeth Salander of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo".
How can I achieve that super edgy, fierce, bold hairstyle.
How short should hair be?
How should I style it?

It is a new year, and I want to try something new!

Answer
i loved her haircut, sadly my hair is not nearly long enough to be cut into what she has. i also noticed that her hairstyle is super versatile. i am curious myself as to what exactly they did, but i couldn't find any information on it. i would assume it's sort of a double undercut with assymetrical bangs. so it's a grown out mohawk with just chunks of razored hair. i'm sure if you took a few good pictures to a hairstylist, they would be able to come up with something. BUT it would be hell to grow out - trust me, i have shaved my head completely before and it took forever to grow it back. best of luck though! i would love to see pics if you ever do it!
