Tattoos don't constitute an ugly or cute girl to me. Of course there are non-tattooed girls that I've found unattractive [and plenty that I thought
are attractive]. It's the same w/ girls w/ tattoos. One girl I know has 15+ tattoos and she's one of the most attractive and sexiest girls I've ever met. I've met some girls w/ small "girly" tattoos and the tattoos didn't get me.

if i get a tattoo for my girls, should i get a flower for my wife as well?

I would definitely get the tattoo for your girls. Afterall, they will always be your girls.

As far as your wife goes, although you may know that your love for her is eternal, there is no real way to really know exactly everything going on with her. Realistically she could be the one to take off one day. In today's world nothing involving family life really seems sure :( If something were to happen between you, you would not only have to endure the emotional pain of a breakup but the physical pain of getting her name removed.

I would think that your wedding bands would be the perfect representation of your love and wouldn't really require anything further than that.

I really want to get a tattoo but my parents say that they are gross on girls. I just want to know what other people think about them so let me know if you think they are gross or hot.
I want to get stars on the sides of my stomach
they will have meaning because i want 18 stars so 9 on each side and most will be small but the years that have the most memories the good and the bad with have be a bigger star like they year my dad died and the year i moved, and all of my little brothers birth years and nine is one of my favortie numbers

I have a tattoo on my hip.
It's a hummingbird and a flower. I love it.

I think they can be trashy if you have too many, or it's something stupid(like a cartoon character). Your idea sounds cute though =)

I wish I would have put more thought into my tattoo... I should have gotten something with a little more meaning. I still like it, but I wish it had some meaning. I want to get a quote on my wrists to inspire me.... I'm a recovering cutter, and most of the time I cut on my arms. I want to get a quote that inspires me. I will have to look at it everytime I wanna cut, so I'm hoping that it will discourage me. I also want to get angel wings on my back for my dad who died three years ago. I want them to be just greyscale and not cartoonish at all... They will form a heart in the middle and in the heart it will say "Free Bird" and have my dads initials. Free Bird because it was his favorite song, and he really is free now. If something ever happens to my grandpa I will get a fish on my foot... Fishing is his favorite thing in the world. I think that's all of my tattoos...

When 80 yrs old... and you still have tattoos and piercings... its to remember your golden years as a youngen! Firstly,

something to remember your first child by! I would get maybe your childs inked footprints maybe! with his or her name! Or a butterfly or a flower would be pretty! Nautical stars with hot pink and black... LOL my fave colors... they are really nice too!

Honestly, if you want something not everyone has, you really need to think about a tattoo that suits your own personal taste and style.
I wouldn't think so much about it, you'll be surprised when you just see something and know it's what you want tattooed, and it really won't take as long as you think.
Just make sure the tattoo is meaningful to you, a lot of people get quote tattoos but they make it their own with their own quote of choice.

Hmm, get a tattoo maybe that symbolizes your interests. It'll make it apart of you.

I know this probably didn't help you very much at all, but if you don't keep looking for tattoo ideas, you'll find one. Or if you just go along with your interests and get something that is based off of them, it'll be as simple as that.

How about "superficial girl looking for approval"?

Tattoos were originally used to signify conformity and belonging to a tribe, and rites of passage. Asking someone else for ideas on what to have indelibily marked on your body demonstrates that you're longing for both.

Having a tattoo is not going to make you fit in or become a woman. If you are going to do it, make sure it is a reflection of who you really are, since you're going be living with it for the rest of your life.. Doesn't sound like you know who that is yet.

And what does music have to do with it? Not all muscians have tattoos, many non-muscians do.

Would getting a tattoo on the back of your ankles hurt very much?

I'm aware that having needle jabbed deep into your skin dozens of time would obviously hurt, but is the back of the ankle a particularly painful place? Rank it on a scale from one (least painful) to ten (hurts like a mofo). I saw a girl with flowers tattooed on the back of both her ankles, and another with wings on them, so I was curious as to the pain level of that area. Thanks in advance.

I have a tat on my ankle, slightly towards the back and that didn't hurt at all. Though it was completely on the backside. It is hard to gauge the pain because everyone has a different threshold. For me, tattooing feels like dozens of pricks that simply burn and sting, not really pain but it also depends on location.I'd say there is a possibility it could hurt. I've known people who says it does and doesn't. Just relies on how well you tolerate the pain. The offset ankle tattoo I have was probably about a 3 with the stinging.

I want a shooting star on my hipbone or foot because it means something important to me.....I need a place that i can easily show off to people BUT also hide because there are people in my life who i am very close to that despise tattoos on girls especially I really respect their opinion although i do not agree & i dont want them to know....I need help deciding which spot would be better & how that tattoo could change over time with weight gain or pregnancy...

Well i have a tattoo on my hipbone and its quite big. I decided to put it there because i was also afraid that people would judge me. I don't have kids but i have a friend who has some flowers there too and she has 4 kids and her tattoo stretched but it still looks so good. nothing happened to it the 4 pregnancies, so what i am saying is that nothing Will happen to u too. people just say that to scare you.. so don't worry..
