Need tattoo ideas for my kids?

AEgirl

I want to get a tattoo to represent my two kiddos but do NOT want names or their birthdates. I'm sorry, I just don't care for name tats. I have a 3 yr old girl & 2 month old boy.

My sister is getting her 4 year old daughters hand print. I thought that was cute. Or even do their newborn hand or foot print. I know this sounds silly but when I miscarried 5 years ago I did not know what sex the baby was going to be and I was due on the first day of winter so we named our lost unborn child Snowflake so we didn't have to refer to it as "it," I have a tattoo on my breast of a snowflake with angel wings and a halo. The idea of the monkey that someone posted was cute. My mother-in-law got a sun with "you are my sunshine" inside it to represent my husband because she used to sing that song to him all the time. Things like that are super cute and meaningful.

Tell me about your tattoos?

Where on your body are they?
What are they of?
What is the meaning/story behind them?

Answer
On my left foot (the top) I have 5 turtles representing my 5 adoptive kids and on my right foot I have 3 turtles representing my natural kids. Then I have 8 feet print going up my left leg. On my right calf I have my sisters name and a fairy/garden scene. On my left ribs I have a huge flower and on my right ribs I have buddha. These represent happiness and my religion. On my back I have a race car with a girl sittin on the hood in honor of a good friend that passed away a few years ago. On my left arm (inner part. elbow to wrist) i have a dead cherry blossom tree. On my right arm I have an alive cherry blossom tree. representing life and death. then I have the kanji symbol for life and death on each of my wrists. Lol. And those aren't even all of them!

I am getting my first tattoo and want to represent my kids. Need Ideas or someone to design!?

Erika W

I have a boy and a girl. I want flowers and their zodiac signs(aries and gemini). I want it on my right shoulder.

Answer
A tattoo shop should be able to listen to your idea and design you one. I'm getting 1 in 2 days and took a few ideas of what I wanted incorporated and the bloke has done a lovely picture to tattoo. It cost me £20 for his time but that then gets knocked off the price of the tattoo if you have it done. What are theire birth flowers or favourite flowers? have them intertwined with the zodia symbol in the centre of ech

which tattoo should i get for my first tattoo? my parents are perfectly fine with me having one.?

i am planning on getting a tattoo for my 17th birthday which is in the end of august. Here are my ideas..
1. the word freedom tattooed on my inner left wrist with the top of the m becoming a bird and joining a flock of other birds that look as though they are flapping away.. it's going to symbolize me as a person being free, growing up.. it's also going to symbolize me being free to do what i want and not being afraid to hide who i am.. i have a problem with caring to much how people think.. also the birds flying away are representing me leaving my home and my family behind when i go to college.
2. i want the phrase "no day but today" tattooed on my right inner wrist.. i love this phrase, it comes from my favorite musical rent.. and i love what it stands for.. it means to live your life to the fullest because you never know when your time might come.. i will constantly remind to take the most out of life and to live in the moment and have no regrets. Under the phrase i want a dandelion tattoo with some of its seeds becoming birds (silhouettes) .. (i like birds :) ) The dandelion/ birds will symbolize freedom, happiness, hope, and wishes. It will also serve as a reminder to enjoy every moment i am blessed to have, as i only have one life to live it.. I think that dandelion would go perfectly with the phrase... Oh i am left-handed if that makes any difference.. And i'll probably end up getting both done eventually, i just don't know which one i want done first.. i love them both equally <3..

I got my first tattoo when i was 17. Im now 19 and i've got 4, planning my 5th for my friends 1 year anniversary of death. Anyway, the only tattoo that i regret getting is the one that i got when i was 17. I was just so into the idea of having a tattoo before the legal 18 age that i didnt really think it through. Its not an awful tattoo, it says Courage with a star, which i liked as i was always bullied and a very fearful person. I thought that seeing the word every day on my wrist would some how make me courageous. Im not. When i have children, im getting a rose to cover courage and having their names coming from it, so its not all bad. Anyway, im just trying to say, think it through good and proper. I've got tattoos on both my wrists, my top back and back of kneck. Like i said, courage is all that i regret, as the others are memorial tattoos and on back of my kneck is mum and dad. They've got strong meaning. Of course, Freedom to you seems like a strong meaning at the moment, but there is nothing about life that lets you be free. Sure, your going to collage and leaving home, but you'll return one day and be stuck in a job like everyone else. Thats not freedom, thats life. I do however like the birds. Yes, it is incredibly common, but i happen to like it. Im getting a single dove on the year anniversary of my best friends death. I like birds too lol. Anyway, the second idea is, to me, far more powerful. Your exactly right, every day is a blessing. No day but today. I would recommend getting this. Along with the dandelion and birds, i think it sounds lovely. It has a better meaning than the first. And who knows, maybe you will end up getting both, but i would personally rethink the first. I was very excited to get courage. Yet i regret it, as i was a 17 year old girl wanting to fit in with all of the other 'cool kids'. So just be certain. Remember that they will be will you until the day that you die. Could be 2 years. 20 years. 80 years. Just think about it, an 80 year old with tattoos. Honestly, i try not to given my tattoos, but i know that if im lucky enough to live to 80, atleast my tattoos will have strong meaning to me, and not something i did for the hell of it, as courage will be covered by then lol.
As for the pain of a tattoo, it will hurt. After about a minute the pain becomes bearable. Dont bother with the cream. I did for courage and felt the lot of it. Just a waste of money.
Good luck. The truth is, some people really like tattoos. Whilst others think of them as disgusting things that'll ruin your body. I dont care what people think of my tattoos. I love them! Im just hoping that when it comes down to meeting the right man, he likes tattoos too. It'd suck if i couldnt be with someone i loved because of them. Also, job interviews are another thing. Alot of places dont hire people who have visable tattoos. Oh well, im screwed. Haha. Like you said, have no regrets. I'd regret not having my in memory tattoos. They may only be words, but words that i got permanently on my skin. To some people, a tattoo doesnt show that you love somebody. But when that somebody has gone and you decide to put their name onto your skin for the rest of your life, to me, thats love.

Wanting to get a tattoo that relates to my family. I have a 3 year old son named Lucas(his full name is Lucas James Johnson) and i'm expecting a little girl who will be named McKenzie(her full name will be McKenzie Abigail Scott). Can't decide if i want to do just one tattoo that has to do with both of them or one for each. Any ideas or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
And were should I get it at.

Answer
You could get something that represents them. My friend has three turtles on her ankle to represent her three kids. 2 birds or 2 of any animal or flower would be cute. You could also get two flowers one for each of their birth months. For example the November flower is Chrysanthemum so if one was born in Nov get that. I think it would be a cute idea.

Answer
she`s not going to hate herself for getting something not meaningful because it does mean something.
it means she feminine & likes hello kitty.
why do people try to prevent others from getting tattoos its not your body so shut up. sorry to be rude.
why shouldnt a girl have a girly tattoo?
its a good spot for that kind of tattoo i say go for it & love it & love yourself & your femininity thats what it can mean to you & hello kitty is innocent let it represent innocence & your girly side & the little kid that will always be inside you we are all a little childish @ times its not a bad thing necessarily THATS WHAT IT CAN MEAN TO HER
you want it for you, than go girl.
