I need help with my tattoo idea! Please and thanks?

lovvvve(:

So I'm turning 18 soon, and I want to get a tattoo that represents moving on in life and following my dreams. I picked two designs.
Design 1:

Design 2:

If I got design 2, I would get a different quote. Something like "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow", "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today", "Dream on", "Follow your dreams/heart", Something along the lines of following your dreams in life. Which design should I get, and what quote would be best for design 2? Quote suggestions are great too. :)

Answer
in my opinion, if you are a cute girl, choose design 2
if you are a sexy / mature girl choose design 1
No matter what you choose, I love both! :)

if you choose design two,
Follow your dreams.
Don't dream your life, live your dreams.
Follow your heart and your dreams will come true.
Dreams are the seedlings of reality.
Listen to the colour of your dreams.

What do you think of this tattoo design?

Basically i want 'Do you love me?' in italics (perhaps another language) on my left rib-cage (its near to the heart; represents the depression i tend to go through and also quite ironic as anyone seeing that tattoo will be seeing me probably naked therefore, i would have to trust them), but i dont know the position.
I want the positioning to be like:

or:

except just a single line across, around the bottom of my bra strap.

Only problem is i cant decide whether i should have it horizontal extending towards my back (like the girl in the first pic, except only one line) Or vertical (like if i drew it on myself).

Any ideas?
as well, what would the pain be like?

Answer
Lettering tattoos don't age well, especially when they are done in italics. In order for the letters to stand the test of time, they need to be done large and in a bold font. If not, it will look like scribbles over time, and you'll hate them. I don't like lettering tattoos at all, never have. But, to each their own, just know the potential for it to look horrible.
