Neck Tattoos?

Apple Bott

Do you think its ghetto if a girl gets a neck tattoo? Like on the side of the neck? (Something small not real big)

Answer
Not one to judge and I really have a lot of respect for anyone who can take the leap and get a tattoo on their neck area.

However, for professional reasons, do not get a tattoo on your neck. Unfortunately in the world we live in, people will judge and first impressions have nothing to do with the real (and probably awesome) person you are.

Experience has shown me people who are tattooed on the neck, face, and head are put more under a microscope than others just from appearance. So just meeting someone who is looking to hire will be a strike against you for any marks and such.

Think about the chest and back of neck (if you are really set on a neck tattoo). If it is a name or memorial (childs, parents, someone who has past or close to your heart), consider the chest area, or shoulder blade...even bicep.

If just a picture, then consider a place other than the side or front of the neck. Back of neck is not bad for something like this.

Kudos for you for considering this and thinking it out. It's always good to get opinions then make an informed decision for yourself. If this is part of you then go for it. I am all about personal expression and encourage others to let go in some ways. We all express ourselves and let go on different levels, but those who take the plunge and have adventures in life like this are those who have come to a certain peace in their lives to let go more than most. Unfort civiliation is not on the same page all the time and you could be outcast by some, but if you are in a position to take the jump and it doesn't affect the 3 biggies (paycheck, family relationships, and ability to succeed)...then great!

Good Luck!

do guys like girls with neck tattoos?

tina339

for example a small cursive sentence on the back of the neck?

Answer
Some won't, some will, some won't care. I've got 4 tattoos (none on the neck) and nobody I've ever been with has made a negative comment about them.

Do what works for you. If a guy is going to judge you on that alone, he's not a good match for you.
