Answer
I would recommend you do not. There is too much uncertainty with the components of modern tattoos ink. If you do, be very careful because most tattoo ink is a toxic soup of heavy metals and carcinogens. The specific ingredients that are used in the pigments differ by color and by brand, but may include not only lead and arsenic, but also antimony, beryllium, chromium, cobalt, and nickel -- metals that are linked to health problems and cancers in people. Research already has shown that tattoo inks can migrate into peopleâs lymph nodes. Black tattoo inks, also contain products of combustion called polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), The PAHs in the inks include benzo(a)pyrene, which was identified in an Environmental Protection Agency toxicity report as "among the most potent and well-documented skin carcinogens." It is so potent that it is routinely used in animal tests to grow tumors. Also, it has been linked to skin cancer in shale oil workers, and the EPA has classified it as a probable human carcinogen.
Insist that the artist tell you in advance what brand of ink they use and any information about its ingredieants. Check on line to see if it is safe.
BTW, Inks sold by Huck Spaulding Enterprises, Inc., and Superior Tattoo Equipment Co., contain dangerous ingrediants. These companies were sued by American Environmental Safety Institute (AESI) because of their toxic tattoo inks.
Be sure you are tattooed with safe ink! See below links

Tattoo ideas please...?

Heather K

I went through a very difficult time in my life, but I made it through because my friends and family made me remember how precious life is. I want a tattoo to symbolise this.
I am a girl and I was thinking of getting a pretty black and white one on the back of my neck, any ideas?
And thanks NANCY but i would prefer constructive ideas rather than utter rubbish about nazi's...thanks.

Answer
If you make the mistake of being tattooed get it in all dark inks black dark blue When the time comes you want it removed there is a much better success rate of removal with dark inks Another thing put it somewhere that an employer will never see it. They can cost you a job.I live in Ohio and did you know that in some maybe all states they require tattoo parlors to report to the county there in to some medical board that they put a tattoo on you, what it is, & where it is.This is done under the gize if theres a recall of the ink they would know who it was used in. I dont know about you but I think people who get tattoos are in reality being numbered, sounds kinda NAZI to me
